Sierra Workforce Solutions Achieves CfMD Status from Microsoft
Sierra Workforce Solutions announced today that its TimeMaster Integration Application, a bi-directional program that interfaces timecard systems with accounting/payroll systems, is now Certified for Microsoft Dynamics, which signifies that the solution has met Microsoft Corp.’s highest standard for partner-developed software. By successfully meeting all certification requirements, the TimeMaster Integration Application can now carry the distinct Certified for Microsoft Dynamics logo. Solutions that are Certified for Microsoft Dynamics have demonstrated development quality and compatibility with the Microsoft Dynamics products on which they run by passing rigorous software testing for Microsoft Dynamics performed by VeriTest (a service of Lionbridge). In addition, the Microsoft Dynamics partner must have customers who are successfully using and willing to recommend the certified solution.
For customers, Certified for Microsoft Dynamics helps identify Microsoft Dynamics solutions that have been tested for compatibility, meet high quality standards, and are successfully used by existing clients. This certification represents a significant step in elevating the standard for partner-developed software solutions for industry-specific business applications. By highlighting these solutions, Microsoft also creates new opportunities for partners to expand their reseller channel and to better promote their packaged Microsoft Dynamics solutions for customers.

Sierra’s TimeMaster Integration Application provides a bi-directional bridge between a given timekeeping package and a given accounting /payroll package. The program transfers data in two directions – it passes timecard data from the time card system to the accounting/payroll system, and populates the timecard system database with employee and organizational information from the accounting/payroll system. Transfer of employee data is limited in accordance with the national HIPAA privacy directives.
